Trip T0 AZ or Photos of Tyler

We spent a few days in AZ in September...found out it is still over 100 degrees...grandpa and Tyler found some cheap entertainment.....if I figure out how to transfer the video, you can share in the fun...I was going to add music, but coudn't figure that one out...oh well!

Some more photos from our Utah trip....(yes we did go to Colorado also, and I don't think we took one photo....hey, we were unpacking and watching the Olympics!)

The 'plus' is Megan and Rusty standing in front of the water feature in their private 'park'! They have an amazing house and yard! Students don't usually live like this.

Mitchell's 50th at the Citris Grill, Draper Utah

We had a great time at the Citris Grill August 18th 2008 celebrating Mitchell's 50th birthday. I had fun turning these photos into cartoons...pretty cool, huh! Many of you may not know that Mitch was delivered with the cord wrapped around his neck...without a really good doctor we could have lost him. We haven't dwelt on that much, but somehow this birthday reminded us of how blest we are to have him...and each of you as well...Love you all, MOM/Grandma

The project continues......

We actually keep working, but it doesn't show much. Two pictures are of the completed hardiboard application where the stone will go...That stuff is HEAVY! and dad did it all....Clark will actually start the stone while we are away....we leave tomorrow for Colorado and Utah....

The front door photo shows some of the trim painted in potting shed green....we are using the exact colors Mitch and Michelle used on their Escondido house...dad doesn't like the green much, hope he does when the walls are colored...No, the door is not going to stay the same color.

The photo of dad shows him on the scaffold working on the trim for the upstairs windows...I don't do scaffolding! But I was up on the roof with him this week helping him put the box of hardiboard together to put around the chimney...I should have taken a photo of that... the chimney will be square and in stone...It was a very awkward chimney, and I am sure it REALLY bothered dad though he was kind enough never to mention it!

Some of you have asked for updates, so there you go. We will hit the ground running when we get back....They apply the color coat August 30th...
